• Setup warnings now evaluate the modeled heat and UVB fields to ensure the animal has a sufficiently large shaded retreat. Refuge sizing uses animal length data with additional movement clearance. This is still being tuned, and might be too aggressive at first. Please let me know if you experience issues.

• You can now add animal names and optional decorations to basking platforms. Customizations carry through to plan sheets, saved setups, and shared setups.
• Multiple basking bulbs must now merge into one broad basking zone, not separate hotspots under each bulb. The simulator scans the whole span between the outermost bulbs. A distance only counts as on target when both the hottest point on the span and its center sit inside the animal's target range, with the center reading at least 90% of the hottest point. The basking level above the target must also bridge the center, though its requirements are not as strict. When no distance qualifies, the target range and basking hearts are withheld, Auto platform will not suggest a height, and a spacing warning appears on the chart and plan sheet.

• Quick select orders the heat, UVB, and LED catalogs by their live reading at the animal's back, so lamps track the current chart setup. Combined view can adjust any of the three light families.

• Desktop UI overhaul: the tool now fits one fixed screen with no scrolling. Rarely used options fold into a header settings menu, the platform moves on a vertical slider at the chart's right edge, and lamps drag on a position track under the chart.
• Mobile UI overhaul: controls move into chart-side dialogs and docks, with per-lamp cage toggles and a distance units toggle in the settings sheet.
• Configurable readout bar: pin or hide metrics above the chart, including distances from any lamp or the ceiling to the platform or the animal's back.
• The platform value can show depth below the ceiling, height above the floor, or the distance below the UVB, basking, or LED lamps.
• The theme now follows the device color scheme until one is chosen.
